Our Finches

This is one of our pairs of Gouldians. Presently they are sitting on eggs. In the past, they have produced healthy young and reared them on their own. Gouldians have a reputation for being difficult to breed so we consider ourselves fortunate that this couple does so well.

Contact us if you are interested in these babies.

With the exception of our Gouldian Finches, which are housed separately as pairs because they do not get along with other birds, especially during breeding time, all of our finches live in flight cages. We try to make their habitat as natural as possible with lots of room to fly, natural and artificial light, with natural branches for perching and natural material for building nests.

Our finches are fed lots of vegetables, proteins, berries and other fruit. The do have a supply of pre-mixed, high quality seed steadily available because they are a very active bird which need lots of “fuel.”

We have;
Lady Gouldians
Zebras of various colors-lots of pied and white variations{a steady supply}
and Society{a steady supply}
We plan to add Owl Finches and Cordon Blue to our flock in the near future.

Our finches our color banded before they are a week old so that we can sell them as pairs and assure that they are not from the same clutch...
