Our Feathered Family
Please NOTE that these are our personal pets and are NOT available for adoption
The babies that are for sale are a part of our personal aviary and not a part of the rescue...

This is Tony and Susie/Red Lored Amazons
We are anticipating a clutch from them in the near future. They are new members of our family and we are their third and hopefully, last owners. They both talk and will sit on our arm. Tony will sit and preen hair. We have three amazons and they each have their own character clearly different from the others. They are a lot of fun to be with, but please note that parrots are very different than having a dog or cat as a pet.

Ready for adoption
Some are talking already
We have greys, cinnamons, cinnamon/pearl, and pieds
and are expecting white face in the near future

We have an assortment of 'tiels in our home, those that are our personal pets, and the babies that are for sale. Even the pairs that we have for breeding are friendly and when not busy sitting on eggs, they love to interact with the family.

We have one old fellow who lost his mate a few years ago and he has chosen to remain single. Pop is about 14 years old and often times we catch him sitting on the eggs of the other "couples" we have in the flight cage. They don't seem to get too upset about it, but we chase him off from time to time so that they don't get too lax in their duties.

Some more of our chicks

I think they look like little Muppets at this age!

He has a full tummy!!

This is a baby that we are keeping..
Isn't he cute?!

Sunny

Our playful Sun Conure who likes to snuggle in a blanket when held. He is very sweet and loves to be with people.

This is our long-time friend, Lolita. We've had her for over 15 years. She can out scream all of them! Through the years, though she was wild caught, she has become so used to her human family that even wing and nail trimming is a process in which she remains calm. She loves to nestle her head in our hands for scratching and preening.
